Entrepreneurship Education Framework for People with Disability

$8,820

Apr 4, 2024

Those aged 15 to 64 experience lower labor force participation (53.4%) and higher unemployment rates (10.3%) compared to those without disabilities nationally. (Australian Disability Network, ACOLA Report2022).

Through work in the arts and culture sector with people with disability in WA, we have identified a gap in pathways into business and entrepreneurship suitable for people with disability.

This initiative is for the development and co-design of a “fit for purpose” entrepreneurship education framework for building business and entrepreneurship capability in creative practitioners with disability in WA, increasing access to participation and inclusion in this sector of our community and economy.
