EPWA Impact Framework

$20,000

Oct 10, 2022

Enterprise Partnerships WA

This initiative was dedicated to the collaborative development of an impact framework, spotlighting the social, economic, and wellbeing impacts stemming from EPWA’s Train-the-Trainer Enterprise Facilitation Program.

Impact

Through Catalyst Create funding, EPWA was able to execute their project targeting local facilitators in Kalumburu and Balgo, designed to elevate their skills in impact measurement, fostering innovation within the realm of First Nations entrepreneurship. The overarching objective was to empower these communities, enabling them to actively shape programs that had a direct impact on their well-being.

The grant enabled some rich discussion between Kimberley-based partners around the gaps in current impact evaluation methods and opportunities for innovation relevant to remote First Nations community entrepreneurship. It is a first step towards empowering remote First Nations entrepreneurs to design and implement innovative and effective entrepreneurship and well-being programs. It will support the case for the creation of ‘community enterprise facilitator’ roles in remote First Nations communities.
